Threeline LED strips installation in the ARANEA group project at IVAM in Valencia
The “Cloud”, that will be active during the museum’s opening hours, is scheduled to work also on Friday nights, from 20.30 to midnight.
The multidisciplinary collective Aranea has designed a very special installation that consists in a huge ring, whose dimensions are 13x8 metres, suspended in the air between 4,2 and 8 metres of height. Its function is to release pulverised water in the air, thus creating a new microclimate in the IVAM square.
The installation has been constructed by the company “Hijos de Jose Espinosa” (Villena) while the technical department of the company that provided the products, Lucero de Levante (Alicante), selected the lighting material to be used. “Instalaciones Eléctricas Proisan” (Villena) dealt with electric and luminaires installation.
The “Cloud”, that will be active during the museum’s opening hours, is scheduled to work also on Friday nights, from 20.30 to midnight, to enliven July’s weekends and to celebrate every Friday night with a party on the “urban beach” of the IVAM.
For these night sessions, the lighting of the structure is essential to increase its attractiveness.
Proisan realised the installation of RGB luminaires by Threeline Technology. The chosen product is suitable for the project due to its technical features and its versatility. There are numerous personalisation options, with different lengths, power or colour temperature, that are specifically prepared according to the needs of the customer and of the project.
Thanks to the RGB and RGB+W options it is possible to change the colour in every moment, via Bluetooth or radiofrequency remote control, in order to create different settings or atmospheres. Another essential feature for this project is the IP rating. A high IP rating guarantees water protection, so the product can properly work also in wet environments like this one.
