Lycée Français has 550 educational centres in 150 different countries and the one in Palma (Spain) has been recently renovated.

As declared by the institute, the key values on which their identity was founded are humanism and respect for the environment.

The new centre in Palma has been developed on a 9,700 m² terrain and it has been designed in order to completely adapt to the topographical conditions of the area. It accommodates about 650 students and it comprehends libraries, boardroom, polyvalent classroom, laboratories, canteens, auditorium, staffrooms, external fields, a climbing wall and different recreation spaces.

THREELINE has been honoured to participate in this project, giving its technical support for the choice of the best lighting.

The most used product has been the SKYLINE profile. It has been installed in continuous lines and strategically placed in corridors and rooms with a wide vision of the depth of the space. Thanks to a special accessory, specifically designed, it has been possible to adapt the SKYLINE and install it upon the blackboards inside the classrooms, thus improving visibility and avoiding light reflect that could impede a correct reading.

THREELINE is capable to adapt itself to the necessities of the installation and to the technical needs of the customers. In this case, a lighting study was carried out by Paco Navalón from the Technical Department, and then we illustrated to the customer the different solutions and the best options for the centre.

Specifically, Lycée Français made a good choice in terms of lighting, as the SKYLINE is perfect for this kind of spaces. Thanks to the <19 UGR grade and being Flicker Free, it is apt for study areas, where concentration is needed for reading and studying activities, for reunions, etc. Moreover, it has a 5 years warranty, that guarantees quality and THREELINE technical assistance in case of necessity.
